Full Circle Moment

I was over the moon when Melissa and Tanner reached out to book me for their wedding! They were already familiar faces, having met them during several extended family photo shoots over the years. Let me just say, that it is the best feeling when families come back to me year after year or, better yet, refer me to their loved ones. It’s like being unofficially adopted into their circle, and I love every second of it! Working with Melissa and Tanner felt so right since we already had a connection through their family shoots.

Working with Melissa and Tanner felt like reuniting with old friends. Over the past year, I’ve had the joy of capturing their engagement photos and spending more time with their incredible families. By the time their wedding day rolled around, I was basically ready to be an honorary bridesmaid! (Just kidding… kind of!)

First Look and Intimate Portraits

One of the most memorable parts of Melissa and Tanner’s wedding day was their private first look. The room we chose was almost entirely encased in floor-to-ceiling windows, creating the most dreamy lighting for this intimate moment. I swear, it felt like the universe itself was rooting for these two. The anticipation of seeing each other before their big debut solidified how deep their love goes! I love love LOVE being apart of moments like this. They also exchanged heartfelt gifts during this private moment, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more special.

The couples portraits that followed were equally stunning. The natural light streaming through the windows gave every photo a soft, creamy glow, enhancing the fall colors and the couple’s timeless elegance.

Family, Fun, and the Perfect Reception

The reception was a lively celebration of love, filled with memorable moments that kept the guests entertained and laughing. One highlight was the surprise lightsaber duel between the bride and her father during their father-daughter dance. It was a hilarious twist that took everyone by surprise! The bridesmaids also surprised everyone with a dance of their own! It was so cute to watch and it was another moment that everyone enjoyed watching and trying to catch on to the steps.

These moments of joy and spontaneity are what make weddings truly unforgettable. Being chosen to capture these sweet, heartfelt moments is such an honor, and tells a beautiful story that becomes a cherished keepsake for years to come!
